The Prehistoric Thira Museum One of the most interesting museums all over Greece with finds from the famous Akrotiri excavations. Akrotiri is a village that was buried with lava on the big volcano explosion. All the village was covered with lava and stayed untouched until the Archaeologists found it. All founds were moved to the Prehistoric Museum, which is located a couple minutes walk from Kalisti Hotel & Suites.

The Archeological Museum A really beautiful journey to ancient times and a lost civilization.. With the same ticket of the Prehistoric Museum you can visit them both! The Folklore Museum Just 15 minutes walk from the hotel, housed in a cave house built in 1861. Really nice!!
